Today’s Venice Simplon-Orient-Express is a luxurious passenger train, including a range of longer and shorter journeys from one night, to a more leisurely four nights, and with some important destinations including Paris, Vienna, Budapest and Verona.

The Luxury Travel Agency would love to introduce to you the new addition to the famous Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. The new addition to the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express will be three new grand suites. The new suites will launch with the first journey of the season on March 21, 2020.

The new suites will be named for Prague, Vienna and Budapest. The Prague suite’s design will be inspired by the city’s gothic architecture, with gold and maroon colors and marquetry adorned with hints of red garnet. The Vienna suite will draw on the city’s classical architecture and design influences, and the Budapest suite in part on the city’s Ottoman visual flavor.

These new suites will house some of the old fashion looks that the train has, but the new suites are a modern creation for the 21st century tourist market, they are not authentic or the real Orient Express of the 1920s and 1930s.

But keep in mind, the grand suites on the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express are not priced on a budget in mind. One night in a grand suite is priced starting at $7,860 per person, according to Belmond’s announcement. On the larger side, a four-night stay could cost you $31,724 according to the booking part of their website.
