Family office travel is rarely one trip. It is a year of journeys across several households and generations, often arranged by a chief of staff or assistant rather than the traveler. The Luxury Travel Agency provides family office travel management through one dedicated advisor who knows every family member, protects their privacy, and handles every booking from the first hotel night to the most complex multi-family celebration.

Family office travel for a multigenerational family at a luxury resort

One advisor, every household, every generation.

Why Family Offices Choose a Dedicated Travel Advisor

Many families come to us after years of splitting travel across several agencies, hotel contacts, and assistants. Preferences get repeated, details get lost, and no one has the full picture of where the family is going or what has already been booked.

We replace that with a single named advisor who is accountable for every trip. Your advisor learns who needs connecting rooms, which grandchild has a food allergy, who prefers a quiet floor, and which hotels the family will never return to. That knowledge carries from one journey to the next, so nobody has to explain themselves twice.

You work with a person, not a call center or a rotating team.

Who We Work With

We work directly with principals and their families, and just as often with the people who manage their lives behind the scenes:

  • Family office managers and chiefs of staff who need a travel partner they can hand responsibility to with confidence.
  • Executive and personal assistants coordinating travel for one or several family members.
  • House managers planning seasonal travel around the family calendar.
  • Wealth managers and private bankers who want to refer clients to a travel partner that reflects well on them.

If you are reaching out on behalf of a principal, you are exactly who this service was built for.

What Family Office Travel Management Includes

Discretion as a standard, not an add-on

We share client details only with the hotels and partners who need them to deliver the trip. We never name clients, publish their travel, or use their stories without permission. We are glad to sign your office’s non-disclosure agreement before any details are shared.

One advisor across every household

Parents, adult children, grandchildren, and extended family can all travel through the same advisor, together or on separate trips. Each household books independently while the family’s preferences and history stay in one place.

Complete traveler profiles

Room preferences, dietary needs, loyalty numbers, passport and visa timing, and feedback from past stays are kept on file for each family member, so every booking starts from what we already know.

Multigenerational journeys and family celebrations

Milestone birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, and reunions with many rooms and many needs. We plan so every generation has the right pace, the right room, and the right experience.

When the family wants a place entirely to itself, we arrange private villa buyouts and full hotel buyouts, so every room, restaurant, and pool belongs to your group for the stay.

Recognition at the world’s finest hotels

We are members of Virtuoso, the leading global network of luxury travel advisors, and hold preferred partnerships with Four Seasons, Rosewood, Belmond, Mandarin Oriental, and more than 3,000 hotels and resorts worldwide. Through these relationships, we can often secure room upgrades when available, daily breakfast, hotel credits, and VIP recognition on arrival. Hotels also know the family is arriving through an advisor they work with regularly, which matters when something needs to be put right.

Clear reporting for the family office

We provide consolidated statements across every household, showing each booking, traveler, deposit, and balance due. Your office always knows what has been booked, for whom, and what it costs, without piecing together confirmations from a dozen suppliers.

Support while the family is traveling

If a flight is canceled or plans change mid-trip, the family can reach their advisor directly. In many destinations, our local partners also provide around-the-clock support on the ground.

A Family Office Travel Example: 22 Guests, One Private Island

A family from the Middle East asked us to plan a 10-day celebration over Christmas and New Year’s for 22 family members. They started by asking about the Maldives, the destination they knew best. Through our early conversations, it became clear the Maldives could not offer the level of privacy the family truly wanted. After a few discussions, we found a better solution: a private island just off the coast of Africa.

We handled every part of the trip, including flights for the full group, entertainment, and special dinners throughout the stay, so the family could spend the holidays together without managing a single detail themselves.

Meet the Advisor: Andrew Satkowiak, Co-Founder

Andrew founded The Luxury Travel Agency in 2013. Long before travel influencers,
he wrote more than 1,000 travel reviews, each based on a stay he paid for himself.
That habit of judging hotels as a paying guest still shapes the honest, independent
advice he gives clients today. He planned the private island journey above himself,
from the family’s first question about the Maldives to their last special dinner
on the island.

Each year, Andrew takes on only one or two new family office clients.

This is what family office travel management looks like in practice: one advisor, one plan, and every generation taken care of.

How Our Family Office Travel Service Works

  1. Private consultation. We speak with the principal, the family office, or both, to understand how the family travels, who is involved in planning, and what has and has not worked before.
  2. Family profile. Your advisor builds a profile for each traveler and confirms who is authorized to request and change bookings.
  3. Planning and booking. Recommendations are tailored to the family, not pulled from a template. We do not send hotel options before we understand the family, because the right answer depends on it.
  4. Ongoing relationship. Your advisor remains the family’s travel contact year after year, not for a single booking.

Why The Luxury Travel Agency

Founded in 2013, The Luxury Travel Agency has advisors in Nashville and Toronto and serves clients from more than 35 countries. Families who divide their time between the United States, Canada, and abroad can work with one agency on both sides of the border.

We keep our client list deliberately limited so each family receives genuine attention from an advisor who knows them. For more on how we serve high-net-worth travelers, see our page on luxury travel for HNW and UHNW clients.

Family Office Travel Questions

Can the family office manager or an assistant be our main contact?

Yes, and many families prefer it. During the consultation we confirm with the principal who is authorized to make and change bookings.

Can family members travel separately through the same advisor?

Yes. Each household can book on its own schedule while the advisor keeps preferences and history consistent across the whole family.

Do you only handle large or complex trips?

No. We handle everything from a single hotel night to extended multi-country journeys. Consistency across small bookings is often what families value most.

How is a travel agency for family offices different from a regular travel agent?

A regular agent typically plans individual trips. A family office travel advisor manages the family’s travel as an ongoing relationship: multiple households, multiple coordinators, stored preferences, and a higher standard of discretion.

Can a wealth manager introduce a client to you?

Yes. We welcome introductions from wealth managers and private bankers and will coordinate directly with the family or their office from there.

Request a Private Consultation

Tell us about the family and who will coordinate travel. An advisor will personally review your request and respond within one business day. We accept a limited number of new families each year.
